The Sweetwater Independent School District offers a choice of meals for students each school day that meet the nutrition standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. All schools offer breakfast and lunch daily.
Children can receive free school meals if the family receives food stamps or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Family income may also make them eligible for either free or reduced-price meals.
